Featuring the same unidirectional (Ohno Continous Cast Copper) OCC, being free from impurity (up to 99.99998% pure copper) has electric resistance and practically no crystal boundaries. Accordingly, it is able to transmit electrical signals faster, and with less distortion than ordinary OFC and silver wires. I then had our OCC copper wire redesigned. This completely new wire has been drawn to a ultra fine strands configuration of 3 bunches of 144 strands - a whopping 432 strands per wire all encased in a unique tough clear PE jacket. This increases the bandwidth as well as accomplishes a more physically supple and bendable cable. We modify the premium Switchcraft Gold mini plugs so they are 20% shorter. Our new cable is now in a more compact profile. In all our tests we have found the bass to be easily the best of all our cable.
