The ALO HFI-780, Modified using a 18 gauge JenaLabs Cryo Wire cable
The new HFI-780 (formerly the HFI-700) was created to be one of the all-around best headphones ever made. Now fully modified by Audiolineout to maximize the full potential of these wonderful headphones. The modification consists of internal dampening and structural vibration control. Then we re cable the headphone directly to each cup using the ultimate in audio wire (6 foot cable length), The JeneLabs Ultra Wire. The larger 18G JenaLabs Cryo wire. 18 gauge JenaLabs Cryo Ultra Wire. Each UW strand is an ultra high purity 99.9999%, linear crystal, stress-free, super annealed, micro-polished, ultra fine stranded copper conductor. It is jacked in modified PE dielectric which offers dissipation and dielectric constant figures similar to Teflon, but without its mechanical resonance problems. Moreover a special extrusion process allows the insulation to exert and tremendous inward redial force on the wire strands, thus reducing audio smearing micro-vibrations. UW is Immersion CRYO treated by JenaLabs proprietary process.

Just got my ALO 780s litterally minutes ago and have them on as I type. 'WOW' was the first word out of my mouth...these are not burned in but they still sound wicked!
Esthetically these are a HUGE improvment over the 750s...they have a clean, high end look to them. And the Jenna Cryo cable just looks amazing...super beefy cable and certainly far from descreet. Hooked into my set up with the other jumbo cryos...its going to turn some heads for sure!
Isolation is incredible...they really close out the world when you put them on. I will say that the clamping power is very strong...but I hear that will loosen up as time goes by. I plan on burning them in and putting something there to give them a bit of a stretch."
